My Story

My name is Allie and I'm an independent artist and self-taught jewellery designer-maker from Newbold, Leicestershire, UK.

I have always had a passion for The Arts and from a very early age I learned musical instruments, dance and singing. I became interested in painting at school and studied Art at GCSE and music for my Diploma.

When I'm out walking in the woods near my house with my dog (a miniature dachshund called Mabel who has her own series of children's books), I love to imagine unseen, secret worlds that might be there, among the brambles and tree roots. The fairies and talking animals who might be living there are the inspiration for my designs.

I love making jewellery - I am fascinated by the intricacy of the designs, having always been drawn towards miniature art. When I discovered silver clay I was hooked almost before I tried it. I just knew it was for me - a clay used to make tiny, delicate pieces that turns into beautiful fine silver, which can be made into jewellery? Perfect x
